Stayed here recently when walking Speyside Way. Were made most welcome and were offered refreshments and home made baking which we stupidly declined (that's what walking 15 miles does to your brain!). We arrived to a warm welcome. We were also offered a much needed lift. The room was clean and comfortable. There was a very good sized bathroom, also very clean but not ensuite and shared with 2 other rooms. The breakfast was excellent and our hosts wonderfully friendly. I would highly recommend this B&B for anyone going to Tomintoul.

We had a night at Glentorets at the very start of the ski season - it's only a 15 minute drive to the Lecht. I normally don't like B&Bs because I don't like feeling I'm encroaching on a stranger's home but Tomintoul's terrible dearth of decent hotel accommodation gave us no choice. Three of us stayed here in April for the Glenlivet road race. Val and Mark could not have done more for us. They were extremely welcoming, accomodating and perfect hosts. Great base for the lecht, massive comfortable room with ensuite to get spread out and relax after a hard days skiing!! Mark's breakfast was absolutely delicious and kept us going until hot chocolate time! Couldn't ask for more from our hosts, we were treated like family. Brilliant B&B, keep up the excellent work!
