Straightforward 'Pub grub' is served here - no frills and good prices. I have eaten here over several years when staying in the area and always enjoyed a good meal on the sofa's by the fire. Have never stayed in the hotel, so can't say what that is like.

There was a lovely open fire in the pub which was warm and welcoming on a cold November day. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pub food was OK. The bedroom was a little tired and dated but acceptable. Breakfast was very good. Choice of cereals and a full cooked breakfast. It was value for money.
