We stayed here on a John O Groat's to Land's End cycle ride (husband cycling and me travelling with a 2year old and 4 year old in the car!). Our room was very large (2 double beds, dining table and en suite bathroom) which was perfect for our family and bike! The hosts were really friendly, suggesting places ot eat... more

From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome. There is no way we could have been more warmly greeted. Parking was directly across the street. Our luggage was taken from the car and we were helped to our large, immaculate and airy corner room with an attached bathroom. As we were hanging our coats, a large plate... more

We stayed one night on a cross Scotland mountain bike trip. The rooms were very comfortable, the welcome very friendly and helpful (extending to use of spanners and oil to fix a couple of bike problems) - and the breakfast excellent. The house has character and the hosts seem to genuinely enjoy looking after their guests. The best stop on... more

We stayed at Argyle House this year as we have been before, however we were completely blown away with the way that is has been improved! We arrived having spent the whole day at airports, and were greeted by two of the loveliest hosts you could meet. The new owners, Dianne and Steve offered us milk and biscuits before going... more

Gave them a phone when a booking I had made at another venue did not work out. By pure luck they had a bed for me for the two nights. I was greeted at the door by the owner Diane and was instantly made to feel very welcome. ( they even called me when I failed to turn up a... more

we spent one night at the argyle and found it to be excellent value for money. We were greeted by the owners who were very friendly and accomodating. They asked us what time we would like breakfast (typical scottish full breakfast, very good), and were very flexible on this. The room was tastefully decorated and the location excellent for exploring... more

Stayed with my girlfriend for one night during a tour around Speyside. The B&B was ideal, the price is reasonable, the rooms looked great, they were clean and had everything you'd need in. But what really made it were the owners. They were really friendly and helpful so would recomend this to anyone looking to stay in the area. We... more

Good quality accomodation in the attractive little village of Tomintoul (pronounced Tom -en-Towel), just down the road from Aviemore and highly recommended as a location since its cheaper to stay here. Argyle House is run by a friendly, fun young couple, and the welcome was superb, fresh tea and coffee were provided instantly we arrived, despite that we had not... more
