This is a resort hotel run by the Melia chain, and for what it is, I think it is absolutely wonderful. This is an ugly touristy dump. Visitors to the area should head for a small hostal in Caños de Meca such as Hotel Madreselva or Hotel La Breña. At least they are small and authentic. Zahara de los Atunes is a concrete jungle, whereas Caños is paradise. more
