This hotel is charmingly laid out over several small houses around a large swimming pool. It is very good value for the money. The food is acceptable but not exceptional. WIFI available in dinning room but not in rooms.

Dear Madam, thank you fgor your nice review. Wifi will available in the rooms probably the next year. Our customers have to understand it is not easy with our kind of hotel to propose Wifi in the rooms. With our 23 rooms like a village within the village, things are really complicated to do. It is like the food, if... More

3rd time stay at the property. The place is still magic. But food quality has dropped. New rooms have been added to respond to the success of the place. But some basic modern things like large tvs (now computer screen type flat lcds) and wifi in the rooms are not available. Meaning it is all fine on sunny days, but... More

Dear Madam, dear Sir, I remember I have been there for the check out and you had already told me about the noise above you. But not all the other problems. I'll try to explain my point of view. Many customers praise the quality of our staff and we are really pleased with everyone. I do not think the quality... More

We stayed 2 nights with demi-pension. Loved the room and its terrace with a view over the village. The owner family is most gracious and spends time discussing the buildings or town or whatever you'd like. English spoken. Huge breakfast. Marvelous dinner with seating around the lit pool. Polite wait staff and very good food. Outside parking is fine; we... More

Dear "jardinage45", Thank you very much for this very beautiful review. Reading it, I remember you were in the room "LES SALADELLES". New room with a great terrace and a great view, that's true :-) I am really happy your stay was really good and I really hope you will come back in our place, maybe the next year and... More

Les Lauriers Roses This hotel is Wizzywig - what you see is what you get. No frills, no extravagance, but a clean room a comfy bed, wholesome food, a warm welcome and, surprisingly, a very cold swimming pool at the end of the season in September. The price is reasonable, and you get good value for your money. The village... More

Dear Sir, Thank you for your review. Among the many testimonials we have on Tripadvisor, yours is unclear. We feel to be a nice hotel but ultimately very banal. I understand now better the "average" rate. It is true that the street of the village is noisier than before and unfortunately we can not do anything about it. Thank you... More

Over the years we have stayed at L'Enclos several times - indeed we have just returned from our fourth visit, making it our most visited hotel in France! That says it all. L'Enclos is ideally situated for visiting Nimes, Avignon. Pont du Gard, Arles, Uzes.... It's also a relaxed 30 minute drive across country to Nimes airport. The hotel is... More

We indeed appreciate L'Enclos des Lauriers Roses. It’s construction, based on different terraces, in the typical Provencal architecture, and the surrounding hotelrooms with their own terraces offers an elegancy and a calmness which we appreciate very much. We were staying this time at the upper pool and had a room with a private terrace just some meters from the pool... More

Pleasant hotel with nice room. Relaxing environment around colourful pool terraces. But food only average and expensive. Breakfast 15euros with fruit salad from a tin - excuse given in July "fresh friuit is not in season" - criminal ! 19.5 euros for main of tiny piece of roast salmon set on one slice of tomato, with a small soggy baked... Dear Sir, Thank you for your commentary. I was the person at the reception who took your complaint. Unfortunately, you have misformulated my response about the fruit salad (which comes from a tin - it's not a secret.) I explained to you that it is impossible to make a fruit salad with so few _local_ fruit in season (during your... More

This hotel is really a mini resort. They offer full dining, three meals- delicious. Many rooms have entrances from the outdoor courtyard, others on second floor. Each room very differently and distinctively decorated. Four different pools (it was too cool to enjoy in April), that would be handy in the summer. Not far from Nimes, well located in Provence.

Stayed here for 4 nights. Room (Lavande) was very spacious, kingsize bed and a single, separate wc from the bathroom, all spotlessly clean. Only niggles were squeaky bed and squeaky doors to the wc and to the wardrobe. Also a bit chilly, especially with the tiled floors, we needed two blankets but this was mainly due to the weather.
