We stayed for week during June 2012. We booked Relais du Plessis for the price and self catering aspect. On the website the complex seemed a pleasant looking place. Our apartment was one bedroom and was decorated to a modern fashion, There was an open sitting room kitchen area, separate toilet and bathroom. The apartment was also clean and we... More

Great resort and strating point to visit Loire Castles as Azay Le Rideau, Ussé, Chinon or Loches. Great services, Apartment was clean. However rooms are realy small. Bring your Corckscrew. Very usefull when visiting the Loire and have a bottle opened when getting back to the room.

I went over to Richelieu for a friends wedding, there were four adults and one 2yr old. It is a fair drive from the airport (Tours) by hire car, certainly over an hour but on arrival we were rewarded with a cool beer by the pool and the weather was excellant. They served food but it was a bit of... More

Only 3 hours drive from Paris (if you don't count all the stops for snacks and stretching), the resort is purely family-oriented place! Very neat 2 storey cottages of 1 and 2-bedrooms. Fully equipped kitchen allows you to save your money on restaurant food. Speaking of which, the restaurant is on the premises and the food quality was very decent,... More

Apartment booked for 6 people and it was too small for 6. No cupboard space for 2 people; towel rails for only 2. Bed made up for only 2 people. Nowhere close to walk to. No shop on site nor close enough to walk to, so dependent on dreadful service in bar, restaurant and take away. 2 hours to wait... More

This place is nothing like it looks on the website. They are nothing really but blocks of 4 flats 2 up and 2 down, made to look like chalets. We thought it extremely small and the accommodation was not good although well equipped with microwave, cooker etc. To have to clean the flat yourself before you leave or pay 43... More

First impressions: the Resort is located behind a DIY Merchants, there are no pleasant views and many unfinished or broken fixtures. The staff were completely disinterested in the fact that our apartment wasn't ready for us until half an hour after we were supposed to have checked in. We were also unimpressed by the fact that stripping of the sheets,... More

We found our stay at the Relais quite disappointing and would certainly not return there. Whilst the apartments are nicely modern furnished and spacious the rest of the facilities does not seem to live up to its descriptions on the website. For a start the impression of the Relais sitting in lovely countryside is only partially true. It is definitely... More

We stayed at the Relais du Plessis for 3 days and 2 nights on bed and breakfast, including 5 treatments and it was just brilliant. The resort is great, the cottage was very nice, super clean with a homely atmosphere. The access to the spa with jacuzzi, sauna and steam room was very comfortable. The treatments were really good, we... More

I am not the kind of person who usually rates hotel. However, after such week end, I feel almost obliged to recomend it to people looking for a lovely week end. Rooms are spacious and very clean (not so often in France I would say), employees dedicated to customers, reasonable equipement in the room, wonderfull landscape and cherry on the... More
