I stayed here for 6 nights recently. Ballymote is not New York, or Paris, or indeed even Dublin - however, the friendly staff was more accommodating than some 4 & 5 star hotels I've stayed at. stayed here for one night in the family room .it was dirty there was old toilet room on carpet .it was dirty bathroom needs a bottle of cif and bleach really dirty.looks like they dont clean this room it needed a lick of paint very noisy on the plus side clean bed and breakfast was lovely and hot more

Hotel with newly refurbish o'haras bar. Bedroom was extremely smelly, most of it being the smell of stale smoke. Smoking was allowed in hotel rooms before the smoking ban but I cant believe it can still smell that strong after 2 years!
