Bit disappointed. The hotel for the price was quite poor and it had definitely seen better days. The breakfast was a bit spartan. Creepy wax man sitting at the piano in the dining room was a bit spooky. The location was certainly central- but a view of the railway station and the dockyard not great.

I stayed here for two days while I did my own Wallander trail. The breakfast was excellent and dining room light and airy. Location is ideal, walking distance from all Wallander sights and close to trains and buses. Room was a bit small but bright and clean.

Classic elegance, bright rooms, a wonderful breakfast buffet, helpful staff - and only three minutes' walk from the railway station. Our room was very nice - big and airy with a huge TV. Everything very clean and tasteful. The breakfast was excellent too. The hotle has been newly refurbished, and is really very nice indeed. This was our second visit to Ystad and to the Continental. We found the hotel to be clean and comfortable as before, and the reception staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed here because we wanted to visit the Wallender sites and it was such a kick to eat in the dining room envisioning Wallender sitting there with his daughter. Hade the pleasure of spending another night at this wonderful hotel, as before everything was great. Kind people in the reception, easy parking behind the hotel, got a great corner room and then went down to enjoy the food. At the end of the day, excellens value for money.

Excellent business conference venue. Quality meals and service throughout our conference. We'll be back next year.
