Our last night in Sweden as part of a large car club tour. We had started at a huge spa complex and seemed to have worked our way slowly down from there! I alwasy thought hotels in Japan had small rooms, but this has to be the smallest we've ever stayed in. Moving around the room to avoid your luggage (nowhere to put it) and avoid falling over each other or the furniture was a challange. We had a "sea view" - the window was tiny and set high in the wall - reminding me of a prison cell (not that I have any experience of staying in a prison cell, I hasten to add!) On the positive side, the staff were all friendly and the restauramt put on a good meal for our group. The roads around the hotel are a good test for classic cars as well - they appear to be all cobbles laid on soft sand and so you can be sure of a good suspension test! more
