We stayed for 3 nights. The location is superb, and the staff friendly and welcoming. Our room was spacious, with a large en suite. The grounds are really something - Ducks, a Swan, and several Peacocks use the extensive lawns and lake, a bubbling stream runs along one boundary. Brilliant staff - always checking all okay. A little tatty around the edges but we prefer to think of that as charming. Made my Mum feel extra special on her 80th birthday - you get the impression nothing would be too much trouble.
