Considering that the "country" of Karabakh barely exists, it already hosts an acceptable "Grand Hotel", the Hotel Armenia Stepanakert right next to the President's building. As Dr. Mitchbefore me already wrote, this is a very comfortable hotel. The service was excellent, servers extremely polite. The surrounding beautiful. I will leave it to the reader to determine what the politically correct way to refer to the land this hotel is located in. Armenians say it is now part of Armenian. The Armenian government and Negorno-Karabagk Republic say this is a separate country (we even had to go to their embassy in Yerevan for a visa). Azerbajan says it... more
