Before arriving, I tried to contact the hotel twice through Boking to upgrade my half-pension to all-inclusive and book a late check-out. No one ever answered me. As a result, we had to leave at 12 o'clock and this was very inconvenient since the plane was at 21.00 in the evening. It is not clear who gave this hotel 4 stars, or why they advertise themselves as 4 stars. The hotel is quite worn out inside and the rooms are very poorly cleaned. There is an unpleasant rotten smell in the lobby. The restaurant is definitely not a restaurant in a 4 star hotel. This is a really big dining room. The cooks are simply masterful at ruining good products. The food was basically just not tasty and in no way fits the standards of a 4 star restaurant. The hotel is simply obliged to post information on its pages that most of the residents, almost half, are refugees from Ukraine. Because we, as vacationers who came for 2 weeks, wanted to take a normal break from everything and relax. This didn’t work out in the hotel, because everywhere on the sofa chairs near the bar there were these people with screaming children, they stayed there all day long, lay sleeping on the sofa and chairs. Some of these people are quite aggressive, they could, for example, pin you down in an elevator or run over with a baby stroller. This is very, very unprofessional on the part of the hotel. The waiters in the dining room are simply terrible!!!!! Half of them are simply sleeping on the move or standing apparently for decoration - the Africans, the other half are Bulgarians and Macedonians sorting out their affairs in front of the guests, do not offer any service, just talk with familiar guests or among themselves. It’s just Chaos and then the manager present there doesn’t make any comments to them. No rules of ethics or respect!!!!!

We are on our last day of an 11 day holiday It has been a great stay at this hotel. There is always a good choice of food, the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious, cleaned everyday with clean towels daily. A big shout out to reception the ladies could not be more helpful. My friend is a celiac they went out of their way to get GF bread for him. Nothing was too much trouble. A massive thank you to Koulla and Maria for making our holiday even more special. We will be back. Only negative is that the entertainment in non existent which is shame.

I have to disagree with many of the bad reviews for this hotel as we have just come back from a 1 week stay and had a really lovely time. The rooms were lovely and spacious and very clean, the aircon was brilliant and very cool was great to come up from a hot day to a nice chilled room. The only negative I could give was they did not have many cutlery and crockery very basic. The pool area was lovely and kept nice and clean there was never a problem getting sun beds, the pool bar was great but disappointing they didn't do snack bar food like chips and burgers etc you had to go in to the restaurant for food which was annoying as you had to be dry when on a lunch you just wanted a snack by the pool. The water park is a great asset and the kids were able to use the slides with there life vests on which was great. The food is not part of the all inclusive package served at the bar which is a real shame and it was quite expensive The main restaurant was lovely and had plenty of food to choose from typical all inclusive selection but always lots to choose from and the staff were brilliant. The hotel is situated in a great location and easy access to the beach yes there is a local pub at the entrance which can be noisy some nights but we went in a few times great lay area for kids and brilliant shows and singers. The biggest negative I can give this hotel is there is no entertainment at all which is a real shame they need to get this sorted asap for the size of the hotel and the attached water park makes it very attractive but there is nothing to do on a night real shame. Would definitely recommend this hotel is lovely make your own mind up!

Arrived July party of 10 4 adults 4 kids 2 babies was not in the hotel was sent to the apartment block opposite the loudest bar around was playing music every night till at least 2:30am unacceptable with babies trying to get to sleep room was relatively clean apart from the top of the headboard and underneath the bed was not that bothered as wasn’t planning going under the bed we had a problem with the safe had to wait 24 hours for maintenance to fix only then to find the door to my room was left unlocked and a speaker and ear pods was missing the receptionist did her best to help food was ok I am a fussy eater but always found something to eat the restaurant manager and drink’s manager we’re the best staff always ready to help would save us a big table with 2 high chairs for babies Entertainment was the worst thing I have ever encountered nothing to do at night the guy running the entertainment was useless no energy with the kids in 2 week all we did was one music quiz the drinks are always made to strong and make you twinge when drinking them the soft drinks never tasted right the pool bar had a waitress with a problem like a slapped bottom and no customer skills the water park bar was ok and the biggest complaint I had was the life guards round the pool and water park may as well not been there as all they did was play on there phones to the point I took pictures and reported them after I lifted a kid out the pool as he couldn’t touch the floor I stayed here in 2016 and 2017 never had any issues that’s why we returned very disappointed ( I understand Covid as been an issue but that’s been and gone now )

Was given a single room with 2 beds pushed together and bunk beds in the same room! We had a word at reception and they happily changed us to an Appartment over looking the pool. We was happy with the Appartment Staff are really friendly and so helpful! Food was up to standard and good selection for everyone in the family but like all all inclusive hotels you get bored of the food No entertainment at all for the kids and I think this is due to people actually living on the complex which we was told was Ukrainians so this is maybe the reason for no entertainment! Another room opened for food whilst we was there only to be told it was for Ukrainians only. I’m guessing the hotel are now housing refugees which only started to happen with a couple of days left of our holiday.

This was our first stay at the Anastasia Beach Hotel. The all-inclusive bracelet also granted us access to the Anastasia Aquamania Water Park which is adjacent to the hotel. I will also be covering the Anastasia Aquamania Water Park more in-depth in a separate review. Positives: - Excellent location; - Excellent value for money; - Free, secure on-site parking; - Friendly, professional staff; - Fully renovated common areas and rooms; - Fast, free WiFi; - Efficient A/C unit, cooled the room nicely; - Complimentary toiletries offered to guests; - Complimentary hot and cold beverages offered to guests; - Robes and slippers provided to guests in the room free of charge; - Good quality all-inclusive beverages and cocktails; - Good quality ice-cream included in the all-inclusive package; - Great breakfast buffet with an omelette station; - Good lunch buffet; - Great dinner buffet; - Good entertainment program throughout the day. Water polo in the adult pool after check-in, ABBA tribute show and kids' disco in the lobby before and after dinner; - All-inclusive bracelet also grants access to the waterpark free of charge. Waterpark has a decent selection of 8 slides for older children and adults, a lazy river and a separate pool for younger children also with a decent selection of slides. Definitely worth a visit; and - Several lifeguards on duty in the pool and waterpark areas give parents of younger children at least some peace of mind; Conclusion: Well deserved 4/5 rating. Highly recommended.

Just returned from a lovely family holiday at the Anastasia Beach Hotel. After reading the reviews myself, I wasn’t expecting much & wondering why I booked but the holiday turned out lovely, relaxing & the weather, perfect. The rooms are pretty basic, but comfortable, the TV has no English channels but to be fair, you don’t need TV, we spent hardly any time in our room. The air con worked well & was needed. There is a fridge that was stocked with water & soft drinks on arrival but not replenished & the safe was free which is a bonus. We had a room around the back, looking out onto the pool area & sea which was lovely to wake up to. All of the staff we encountered were pleasant. The pool bar area, you have no trouble getting served & also the indoor bar. We also had use of the Marlita Hotel pool and could use the pool side bar there. Lovely pool and views out onto the beach. The food is lovely. Probably one of the best in an all inclusive that I have had & been to loads over 20 years. A big selection, one night was carvery night, where all meats were served, excellent roast potatoes & gravy. Mexican night, BBQ night. The lunch servings & breakfast were very samey but that’s to be expected & again, with the kids, lots of chicken nuggets & chips, but my kid loved it & the heat makes you lose your appetite anyway! The only bug bear was the ice cream, no selection, just a mini chocolate ice cream on a stick that we called a mini magnum. Could really do with a better selection. In the dining area you are served drinks, the waiter comes & takes your order, can sometimes make you feel like you are invisible but the staff are working so hard & you do get your drinks. It can sometimes get very busy at breakfast with people queue jumping, could never find the right time to avoid this. The pool area is lovely, well maintained pool area. I saw it being cleaned & the pavement around it washed every day. Plenty of sun beds with no issues getting one. The pool closes at 6pm & they try to enforce this. The water park, again is fab. Can always get a sunbed, the slides are amazing, no queues when we went. Very hot to be climbing the steps though, pool & lazy river are fab. Could do with a spruce up but all in all, you won’t be disappointed. The beaches are lovely. Directly outside the hotel is a small, almost gravelly beach, my little one didn’t like the stones on his feet. But just to the left on walking down a beach side pathway are two beaches which are lovely. Pernera beach has beautiful sand with plenty of sunbeds & crystal blue waters, with a selection of water sports, if you wish to do those. The setting is so peaceful. There is also a small ice cream place called Bubble Island, which serves yummy ice creams to take the pain away from the rubbish hotel ones. They also do smoothies, milkshakes & waffles. There are also plenty of bars & shops in the vincinity if you fancy a change. There is no entertainment at the hotel, which is a shame. It could be so much more. It’s not really our thing so didn’t bother us. I think there is a mini disco, but more aimed at different nationalities, no English. There is one bloke who comes around doing aqua aerobics. We went for dinner late, at around 8.15pm but there may have been dancing & an Abba tribute me may have missed & bingo, on too early. There needs to be more day time stuff, sun bed quizzes or activities. No music around the pool until our very last day which was welcome. Finally, there is a nightclub opposite called the Nava. Operating when we were there, Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Sunday it is supposed to finish at 11.30, the rest, 2am. It’s very loud & we were facing away from it, so I’m guessing didn’t get the full brunt of it. It didn’t ruin our holiday. My little one was so exhausted by the day, he was asleep very quickly & I took ear plugs - but I think TUI or anyone selling the hotel should mention it, as you can’t ignore it. Talking of TUI, they don’t visit the hotel or basically care about your holiday there, so be aware, no reps on site. The hotel is more geared up for the non-English. All in all though, our holiday was lovely, & we were able to enjoy good family, relaxing time away with amazing weather.

Returned home yesterday. Travelled back to this hotel after not being there for about 4 years !. It felt lovely returning ! The same manager running it that came out to greet us. Rooms were ok need a bit of TLC but who spends time in a bedroom on holiday ! Pool area and water park great no issues what so ever ! I noticed a thing on it saying about the life guards being rubbish on there phone but we did have a incident where a child went under In the pool and the life guard jumped straight In and pulled her back up to the surface ! Very speedy reaction ! Plus In my eyes the life guards are added extra as parents should be watching their own children !!!!! Food good variety I had no issues with any of the food and I like to cook myself and I am very picky and like something decent ! Kids loved it too ! Entertainment only let down ! No evening entertainment this needs to addressed! This will loose British tourism in particular family’s ! It used to be amazing the entertainment even had a new stage area and bar made for it set back from the hotel ! Come on Anastasia get a decent entertainment team back and you would be perfect in my eyes ! Fab time little bit of paradise! Definitely will return

I will start by saying the majority of the staff are super welcoming and pleasant. But they cannot compensate for the outdoor nightclub that operated for 5 of the nights we were there. It is about 100m from the front of the hotel and is open until 3am. It is not quiet... And, towards the back of the hotel you will need to contend with the pub that has karaoke and cover band singers until 2am. Every evening. And they are unbelievably loud. None of this is strictly the hotel's fault, but as a "family" hotel they should either make people aware before they book, or take out an injunction as it made the nights unbearable for me. However if that does not put you off then be aware the hotel looks superficially nice but the rooms and facilities are very very tired - that did not bother me, they were clean enough and the aircon worked, but if you are expecting a modern luxury hotel, this will not be for you. The food was pretty average, we had gone for all-inclusive and I would rate the food as 'reasonable school dinner' quality, again, it did not bother me, but if you are after haute cuisine, then look elsewhere. And whatever you do, don't let go of your plate as the moment you put your cutlery down it will be whisked away (staff under instruction to turn round tables super quick no doubt which does not make for an enjoyable dining experience). The drinks were pretty terrible though, I have been used to getting a bottle of wine at dinner at other hotels, but here it is very very average glasses of wine or beer or watered down soft drinks. The bars are all a bit of a joke (one even ran out of beer and could not be bothered to restock) and we ended up going to a couple of nearby beach bars in the evening (which were very pleasant). And there are several close by blue flag beaches which were lovely and suitable for little ones. On the plus side, despite supposedly being fully, the pools were reasonably quiet and the little water park is great fun and again, no mega queues for the rides. However the lifeguards are a total joke, there are about three of them to cover quite a large area, but they won't notice you drowning as they are constantly on their phones or doing their nails - so keep a close eye on your little ones as they are too busy on social media! So unfortunately this is not a hotel I can recommend.
