We spent a week in Piura for business. This is not a tourist area of Peru and extremely poor. Several rooms surround a nice courtyard, but our room was located off the courtyard in a hallway. This hotel is beautiful, and comfortable, and the location can't be beat - it's right on the Plaza de Armas. The price is reasonable, and the restaurant is good. Ths hotel would receive 5 stars, but some of the rooms have not been updated, and some still use a standard key instead of card.
