My experience there was good, itajuba is an old but clean hotel, its principal value is the location one block away from cinelandia station. I think tha price value relation is good. Breakfast is perfect and if you don't have problem for the old furnitures and ambient it is a good option for bed and breakfast.

I miss the staff at Itajuba Hotel...I miss this place and surely planning of coming back when i get married...

I stayed in this hotel because I had a meeting in downtown Rio. This hotel was close to work (walking distance) and to Santos Dumond Airport. For a first time visiter to rio i don't known what to expect from the hotel,but it was very nice,clean and the staff friendly and helpul.The downtown locale was great for public transporation.

The itajuba has a very nice atmosphere. Nothing fancy - just comfortable and away from the Copacabana scene. Staff is friendly, personable and knows who you are.
