If you are mad about Brazil and Rio de Janeiro, don't go to CLub Med Rio das Pedras!. that place is not Brazil! Hotel chain are supposed to be similar everywhere, but you can't be 100 km from Rio and just have to listen to argentine pop music all day long! I vacationed in Rio das Perdras, Brazil Nov 2006. The staff was great! That being said… most of the vacationers are Brazilian with a small percentage of other South American vacationers.
