This hotel was a such dissapontment! I was looking for a comfortable, relaxing hotel with pool and/or beach, where my husband and two young boys could hang out while I took care of business in town during a combined bussiness/vacation four-day family trip to Kalamata. This recently renovated hotel is conveniently located on the waterfront, at the edge of Kalamata, though right on the very busy coastal road. The interior (halls and rooms) is smart (though slightly dull) and clean. But the exterior is marred by small (yet important) details: some scruffy outdoor sofas that should have been replaced, all kinds of junk (discarded furniture and umbrellas, piles of unused pavement plaques, rusty metal fittings) near the entrances to the pool (on the bungalows side) and the exit of the tunnel leading to the beach. As for the overall layout, vast expanses of asphalt (!) separate the (crammed) family bungalows from the main hotel building, and poorly designed gardens the bungalows from one... more
