Travelling from Canada and on an extended driving tour of Britain we were fortunate to find this fine B&B for our Cotswold base. Our experienced hosts were always helpful, Barry's back road tour a highlight, and Jean's jams neverending. Their quiet location, comfortable bedrooms and reasonable rates see a lot of repeat business. No wonder. more

This is the best B&B we have ever stayed in England and Germany. Gene, the lady, is very kind and she cared every aspect of tourists. Foods are excellent, rooms are clean. The best part is breakfast. It starts at 8:30 and last till 10:00. All the guests enjoy talking each other and they apt to forget time to leave.... more

We stayed 3 nights with Gene and Barry and enjoyed our time immensely. Gene delights in everyone chatting and socialising which is very nice. Breakfast is served at the same time for everyone and you are seated at a big table and everyone chats before heading out for the day. Gene's jams are unreal, try a few different ones each... more

We last stayed at the Brymbo House in 2004, and had such a wonderful time that when we planned to return to the UK in 2009, we planned our trip around when a room would be available for 5 days at this marvelous B&B. Not to denigrate other wonderful places we've stayed, but Gene and Barry put it all together... more

We stayed at Brymbo in April of 2009 actually for the third time . It was definetely the best place we ever stayed in the UK. We were there for 54days, and we couldn't have been happier. Our room was beautiful with a large double bed, large window that looked out onto the garden, and a small bathroom. The breakfasts were... more

Brymbo was a nice place to stay for a long weekend. One of the highlights was definitely the 4x4 drive with Barry, this allowed us to discover places which we could never have seen with our regular car, and it was a great introduction to the area on our first morning. The room was nice and comfortable, and probably one... more

I found a most warm welcome at this Guest House , where there was a dedicated attempt to make my stay as pleasant as possible. I could have stayed a lot longer just to sample the wonderful array of home-made preserves! I would heartily reccommend this establishment to anyone seeking a restful break from the hustle and bustle of big-city... more

On a cold frosty evening at the end of October, my partner and I arrived at Brymbo's to a warm friendly welcome, roaring log fire and a yummy tray of tea and biscuits. Our room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed - and a powerful shower in the morning. I cant remember the last time I woke up... more

This place is a true find! great breakfasts, dozens of jars of homemade jam to be tasted, really friendly dogs and owners and tea and biscuits on tap. This is the one place in the Cotswolds that I keep coming back to as the welcome is always great, the location is central and Gene and Barry are a mine of... more

We just returned from a two week stay in the UK, staying at several B&B's and Brymbo was definitely the most friendly B&B we stayed at. The B&B is in a very rural location so very quiet, yet a short drive to many beautiful Cotswold towns. Simply a beautiful area to explore. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, made... more
