Then there is the Lavo were you sit around the fire and enjoy a traditional Sami meal in a special atmosfare. Restaurant The restaurant has become well known in the area for its good and hardy food local specialties as well as a touch of France. Skaidi hotel is conveniently situated in the middle of Norwegian Lappland at Skaidi, the cross roads to Alta, Hammerfest the world's northern most town and Porsanger. This charming hotel is in the middle of a nature paradise, were two salmon rivers cross, fishing and hunting is great. Nearby there is also the opportunity for Golf! There is a downhill ski area, numerous cross country and snowscooter trails. From mid September to mid April the incredible colorful and eary Norden Lights, the Aurea Borialis, can be seen dancing and flickering across the sky. Summer as winter Skaidi is a beautiful place to be.
