This hotel is in the far north of Norway about 1 hour's drive south of Hammerfest the most northerly town in Europe. We spend an overnight stay in this warm comfortable hotel overlooking the valley which was covered in snow. Gorgeous. The hotel has a swimming pool which is a gorgeous layout. There are chalet's up on the hill behind... More

Rooms could be a little better (especially those on the groundfloor are quite dark), but the lobby is quite nice and cosy. What really amazed us was the quality of the food in the restaurant. Very tasty, nicely presented and huge portions. Also the variety offered at the breakfast buffet was wide and of good quality. All in all a... More

Room 7/10 Food 7/10. Nice to have a balcony overlooking mountains/trees/cross roads. Comfy beds with sofa and table in room. Battleship grey furniture and curtains that didnt quite fit the window (not a good idea when its the midnight sun all day) but use of a spare blanket soon fixed that. No fridge or tea maker in room. The food... More

I found the hotel to be very nice and comfortable. I went here in November and they had fires going and Christmas decoration in place (each to their own). The rooms were spacious and had balconies with a great view of the surrounding area. It was very quiet and peaceful, which I very much appreciated. They also had quite a... More

Skaidi means crossing in Same language, and Skaidi Hotel lies where rivers and roads meets. My room was quite big with good beds, a nice tv and a decent bathroom. I could easily hear my neighbor in the next floor walking over my head, but on the other hand she(?) seemed to be a very busy heel-walker. The trim room,... More

I have stayed in Skaidi hotel in connection to a seminar. I found it to be a very nice place. Expecially I liked the restaurant and the fantastic skin sofas in the lobby. The atmosphere is cosy and homelike. The rooms are standard. Not all lights were woking, and one could see some damage here and there (cracks in walls... More

We were en route to North Cape and spent one night here. From here it takes about 3 hours to drive to the Cape, and then 3 hours back. It is not easy driving: many turns, many narrow passages, much up and down hill, so it's nice to have a base camp in this area. Staying at the Skaidi Hotel... More
