This place is supposedly a 3-star establishment (with prices to match), but the room I was given didn't make the grade, I'm afraid. The room was small even for one person -- for two (and their luggage) it would have been a definite squeeze. The bed linen was threadbare and stained; the decor was cheap and heavily marked; the plug in the bathroom sink didn't work. There were no easily accessible power points.

Be aware too that this hotel seems to have an issue with taking credit cards for payment, even though they charge a premium for so doing. Other reviewers elsewhere have complained that they weren't allowed to pay by credit card with no valid reason given, and this was certainly my experience. The hotel would only accept cash, which for a 3-star place is a strange policy to say the least.

There are some pluses though. The hotel is very well located for the beach, restaurants, bars and the tram. There's free car parking and free wireless internet in the rooms. And... more
