We stayed here for 1 night which happened to be the last day of the ski season so we were lucky to get a reservation. In fact, I only fell upon this hotel as all the other hotels in resort had already closed. The owner/staff couldn't have been more accommodating and spent a long time talking us through the hotel and how it operates. The owner did confirm that if you wanted to stay for any time during the ski season then booking 1 year in advance would be necessary. They don't have a bar as such but the owner took us into a public room, put the fire on and bought us our aperitifs. We almost felt like it was our own private chalet! Our room was full of character, all the furniture was made from local wood and there was lots of unique ornaments hanging around.
Having read the website I knew the food was going to be special although I hadn't spotted the prices until the menu was placed in front of me. It isn't cheap but to be honest it was worth every penny, a real gastronomic...
