We only spent one night here, but couldn't fault its location. Room was decent. As you enter village, take residents turning, so you can drop your bag straight off and then take it to the car park - much easier than trundle stuff around! Alquezar is a wonderful village, with good hiking trails right out of town. We stayed at the Santa Maria two nights as a base for exploring the area. We really enjoyed our stay at Santa Maria. The hotel owners were welcoming and friendly. The room had a beautiful balcony overlooking the castle. The room was a little small although it was more than adequate for our needs. Breakfast included freshly baked croissants and a selection of cereals, cakes and fruits.
