We stayed at this resort for two weeks and had a lovely holiday. However, the resort does have a problem with mosquitoes. We have traveled to many tropical countries and have never had this problem before. I have to say they were everywhere, even by the pool in the middle of the day. We used 80% deet insect repellent recommended... more

We stayed here from June 19th to Jul 3rd and had a great time. Kids loved the pools which were clean and inviting, and the beach. The beach was fantastic - the best 1 I have been on. My girlfriend and i stayed hear for 2 weeks . the hotel itself was lovely, maintained and clean could not fault it, the beach is amazing never seen sea as blue and clear as this, the swimming pools are ideal with pool bar we never struggled to get a sun bed morning or afternoon, hotel room was ideal size towels... more

The Las Dunas hotel in Cayo Santa Maria is one of the best resorts you can visit in Cuba. The people are simply the most friendly and efficient. The beach is amazing. What can we say. This is our 5th visit to Cuba, no other place can beat the value and the amazing white beaches. We stayed at MLD June 13-20. Overall we had a great stay.
