We had a western style room, much cheaper than western/japanese room. Meals were catered at the restaurant. Be sure to wear the yukata they provide to the restaurant as it seems of oil there and you have no desire for your own clothes to smell of that. The onsen was fantastic, especially the outdoor ones overlooking the lake.
