Stayed for 1 night on the 6th floor. Checked in very late and paid 150RM for a twin room including breakfast. Clean and comfortable with a nice shower. Friendly staff and we did not notice any evidence of prostitutes. I will stay here again next time I'm in Batu Pahat.

This is not a world-class hotel, so you cannot expect world-class facilities here, Despite that, I would say the hotel is quite reasonable and comfortable. Aren't those what people to tend to look for in a hotel? As such, I was quite surprised when there are those who complained about the hotel, especially of it being old. Well, being old... More

This hotel is one of the worst in town, the building is quite old, the room is also quite rundown which makes me feel very uncomfortable. Besides that, during my stay in pelican, I found that this hotel is full of prostitutes and this turned me down. Quite a number of uncles who brought the china prostitutes to the hotel... More

I was having my church camp in this hotel. The price is reasonable with a group of 100 plus odd campers. The breakfast can consider nice. Some of the rooms are under renovation at this moment, except the first 4 levels. Hence, some of the rooms are still not to standard yest but still bearable. Staff are friendly and helpful.... More

I stayed at this for 2D 1N in early Nov 2011. Other hotels were fully booked and after reading the bad reviews, I was pleasantly surprised with the rooms - they were clean, even though basic. I stayed in a Triple room, and it was spacious enough for 3 of us to move around. The bathroom was ok - except... More

Went to Batu Pahat for my brother-in law wedding ceremony. Had to stayed for 2D1N. Room Rate : Below RM 93 onwards. Location : Quite far from shops / shopping malls / eateries outlets. Room : Smell of damp carpet, the curtain have few holes, the sofa was unbearable (with dirty spots all around it) - sat on it only... More

I recently stayed in this hotel and surprisingly found that this hotel has been renovated recently! The newly furnished lobby and friendly staff greet me with great hospitality and the price is really affordable considering such good services provided. Various kind of local or foreign delicacies can be found in the coffee house, if you want to experience the local... More

Used to stay at Crystal Inn but since it was fully booked, so just have a go on Palican Hotel. The room cost RM93 which is cheaper than Crystal Inn, which is good for me. Location: Situated on one of the main road of Batu Pahat. A small food courted is just next to the hotel. Summit shopping center is... More
