This was a lovely hotel with excellent facilities, great location (for the skliing and nightlife/daylife) slap bang under the main ski lifts and right in the middle of town. Friendly and helpful staff, who spoke embarassingly good English.
The draw back for most would be that the arrangements for evening meals was very early evening (18:00-18:30) which didn't suit us at times, one evening dring our stay was a buffet, but generally for half board and evening meal there was no choice of meal available. Breakfasts, I have to say were fantastic and lots of choice, I was full up for the rest of the day. Although the sittings in the evening were strange, the standard of food was very good.
Skiing in Are is great, it would have to be as the world championships were held there in 2007. I had to walk down that run. generally enough runs for intermediates and beginners and plenty of risky runs for the advance skier. Great shutle bus service that came with the ski pass and if you... more
