We originally booked for 5 nights at the Crosskeys but enjoyed our stay so much we extended it another 2 days. The welcome is great, the food plentiful and beautifully cooked - where else can you get a full english breakfast in the price! The rooms are cleaned and the towels etc. changed every day. Bob and Mary are lovely... more
I agree with the last review. The place was unkempt, with small parking area filled with old cars and vans, (they run a car business also) lots of dead plants, and walls need painting. On entering the 'yard' we saw a man and his face did not change as he looked at us. My partner wound down the car window... more
Booked for just the one night,"Thank God". On arrival I felt as if I was pulling into a Gypsies back yard. The accommodation looks nothing like the photos on the web-sites.
