We stay at Nikolas twice a year and no matter what time our flight gets in the family are there to greet us. The apartments are traditional and always freshly painted and every year more facilities are added, new bathrooms, new kitchens etc.. It's only 50m to the beach and when you sit on your balcony after a great evening... more

Adequate but not great accommodation. Satisfactory but "D" class service. This is a tired motel/apartment complex which needs some TLC. However it is close to the beach and an easy bus ride into town, and it is cheap. There are lots of restaurants on the nearby main street. It is good value for money. Nikolas apartments is located near the beach of Amoudara and just down the street from the main street in an area where you will be thankful for staying at, after having spent a day with constant listening to crazy car, quad and motor bike drivers. Our room bore no resemblence to the room depicted in their website. Goodness knows when or where these photos were taken. The apartments seem to be popular with Greek tourists who only seem to stay for a night and move on. Other people come year after year and are very happy. Perhaps they are given a better apartment.
