On our trip in Croatia, the three of us (2 adults + our 6-year old daughter) stayed in the Plitvice Pool apartments. We felt welcome from the very first minute by the friendly couple that runs the apartments. No rushing, we could first freshen up before settling the administrative details.

We had ordered a 3 person room and it was a lot smaller than expected from the photo's on the website, so that was a disappointment. They are working on the rooms and I think they will have more spacious options availabe in the near future.

The furniture was simple but ok although we had quite some trouble lowering and raising the Ikea screens. Our hosts were however very helpful with that as well as with good advice on restaurants, tips for walking around Plitvice etc.

The little swimmingpool was very nice for our little daughter and every morning there was a great breakfast especially made to order. It was great to sit outside our terrace at night overlooking the fields... more
