It's not easy to get to Malfa on Salina, but if you do, you have to stay at the Hotel Signum. This is the most amazing place. The location is truly beautiful with views of the Aeolian Islands. The scent of jasmine greeted me as I walked to the lobby. Friendly and helpful staff made me feel like family. The authentic Aeloian style had a Sicilian village feeling. Signum Hotel is not a premium hotel. The beds were the worst we've seen, very similar to a cot, in a "premium room". The bath towels were very thin kitchen cloths.
