Stayed here 16 to 30 October 2011 on a B&B basis. The hotel & resort was very quiet. Aguadulce is not a very touristy resort; this did not bother us as we like Spanish food. Not much English spoken, out and about in the bars & restaurants, which was good fun as it challenged our spoken Spanish. It took us... More

I stayed at this hotel last week & have to say was appalled! On first glance the hotel looks lovely but after booking in we found out that our room had a known fault - the bathroom flooded terribly which flooded the hallway & outside the door! The hotel's solution - send the maid!! It two took trips to reception... More

We have stayed at this hotel many times when we visit family who live nearby. The hotel rooms are kept very clean and all have balconies overlooking the sea. We don't usuually eat main meals there, but there is a very good choice of food at breakfast, including freshly cooked hot food. The hotel is located next to the sea... More

We stayed in the Playadulce for a week and were very dissappointed with the quality of the rooms. We arrived after midnight and went up to our room. Unfortunately it was next to the lifts and as my husband is a very light sleeper we went straight back to reception and asked for another room. To cut a long story... More

We stayed at the Playadulce at the end of Jan/early Feb 09, for 2 weeks Half board. The hotel was practically empty apart from weekends when some Spanish guests arrived. The area was pretty much closed up, there was no alternative eating places. The buffet meals were not of good quality, the choices were large but rather strange (rabbit stew... More

Just a quick review to say how great this hotel was. We travelled out of season expecting to find the place deserted but it wasn't. When we walked in we all felt that it was buzzing and had a very nice feeling about it. Ok - it's not the trendiest hotel in Spain, but it is very clean and welcoming.... More

Here is a synopsis of our holiday at Playadulce hotel. We were staying just for a couple of nights on an all inclusive break. The taxi from the airport cost us 25 Euros. On arrival - we were a bit early but they allowed us the check in. The hotel reception and public areas were four star. The pools were... More
