We recently stayed at Ares Hotel a couple of Kilometres from Marmaris. Very friendly staff, hotel very nice, but in need of refurbishment. Clean and welcoming though. Having been to Marmaris before i knew roughly where the Ares Hotel was situated. Its in the Armutalan area of Marmaris which is quite a bit away from the sea shore but with excellent public bus links making travel easy and very cheap. Just came back from two weeks at ares hotel, first week was not very good poor breakfast horrible red haired woman on reception, at end of first week red haired woman was evicted by hotel owner, everything changed breakfasts were good, reception staff helpfull, rooms are adequate for price would go back tommorrow. more
