Hotel Lisca Bianca has all the potential to be a super little hotel... unless you actually want to get any sleep! The Bar Barcali which looks so perfect in the brochures is literally thumping until 2:30am. Panarea is a fabulous special place. Lisca Bianca was very nice,right on the frenetic harbor. The rooms were nice. The service was excellent. Just be prepared to stay out late or hear loud music till 2:30.Try to bet a room overlooking the harbor with a patio.keep in mind there are 2 hotels with pools(Cincotta and Piazza) which are good alternatives... more

Panarea is a very small but incredibly chilled out island and the lisca bianca suits this perfectly. Like the other reviewer we stayed in room 13 and it was amazing. As we disembarked the hydrofoil at Panarea we were met by someome from the hotel in a 3 wheeler van (the norm for the island) who took our bags to the hotel (only about 100m away). I was a little nervous about traveling to the Aeolian Islands because there was so little written about them.
