We had a great time in El Ardinal, and we actually wished we had stayed longer. It is a great place on a hill overlooking a valley. Management is extremely nice and caring about customers. It is a great place to use as a base to move around the mountains nearby.

Lovely place, the owner is always there happy to help, the room are clean and very comfortable room, there is great view. Good location, Rural El Ardinal was based for day trips in Pico De Europa it was good place to return to after long walking day.

El Ardinal is a lovely B&B less than a five minutes walk to the centre of Arenas de Cabrales. The views are spectacular, much better than all hotels & B&Bs in the centre, as you can see all the mountains surrounding the village. We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Rural El Ardinal. We stayed for three nights in June 2012. The rooms are comfortable, and superbly clean. The view is breathtaking, and Blanca, the owner is always there with a warm smile and eager to help (recommend a restaurant, arrange a day of kayaking, give hiking advice). In short, wonderful.
