We stayed at Ocean Cottage and it was absolutely gorgeous - beautiful terrace with plunge pool and views straight out to sea - spent three days just lazing around watching the boats come and go. We stayed at the Oasis Marigot Vacation Club.... a beautiful setting on the North side of the bay. We wanted a quiet, central location, with a grand view of the bay and access to activities. We arrived at St Lucia not quite knowing what to expect. The drive to the Villa was bumpy with a few pothole and hair pin bends, and I would definately suggest hiring a car as a can't imagine coming here without one, but once we arrived we were in paradise! The setting for the Oasis Marigot is beautiful! The cottages are hillside with an incredible view of Marigot Bay, which is an active bay so there is plenty to see, but very quiet. That said, there are 216 steps to the top and so you will either need to be in shape for the hike or patient enough to wait... more
