Craigend is a little off the beaten track, but very well worth visiting. The rooms are modern and very clean and well appointed. The hosts are very friendly and informative, and nothing is too much trouble. If you are warned about the size of the full breakfast - TAKE NOTE - it's huge!! but excellent. more
I was cycling from John O' Groats to Lands End and arrived at Craigend after a long ride from the top end of Loch Lomond.. Probably the first B&B in the 14 years we are holidaying in Scotland where the owners invested so heavily in high quality beds for their guests. Had a very, very comfortable sleep. Very quiet location, too. more

Without doubt the best B&B I stayed in on my month long trip to the UK. Craigend has more of a 'homestay' feel about it, unlike the average B&B. We stayed at Ceaigend for a week and enjoyed it very much. It's in a nice quite environment. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Heather and John are very friendly and service minded. Highly recommended. Frits de Graaff/Rita Knegtering more

We recieved a warm and friendly reception on our arrival, the proprietors couldn't have been more helpfull. We were on a JOGLE cycle ride and had got fairly wet through the day, we were given full use of the drying facilities. The rooms are well appointed, spaceouse and comfortable, great bathrooms. I have stayed in rated hotels even the Hilton in London, but Criagend was every bit as clean and comfortable, More friendly and the breakfast could not be faulted in any way, so you are getting a hotel service at Bed & Breakfast prices. After a long day travelling we were met by Heather and John who gave us a warm friendly welcome. Our first impressions of their lovely home was WOW!
