5 of us booked 2 rooms for 9 nights on All inclusive basis with Tui. Resort consists of 3 hotels 1, 2 and 3 plus several separate apartment blocks and is rated 4 star We arrived 10.30pm after over 9 hour flight delay and were dropped off at hotel 3. Very dated tired reception area, given small warm bottle of water an apple and a banana and told no food but snacks in the bar, a bowl of crushed crisps that everyone had handed and plain wafer biscuits. Rooms very worn and dated, one of the beds broke when sat on, this was replaced and the broken one thrown under one of the other beds. Balcony door opened inwards, had to move all beds to be able to get out. These rooms bore no resemblance in size or condition to the pictures on the Tui website. The bar area dirty and tired. As soon as bar closed everywhere plunged into darkness. Went to Tui rep next morning to ask to be moved, said nothing she could do up to the hotel. Eventually after a morning wasted we were told we could move to an apartment, on first glance seemed better than the rooms. Given a paper to sign all in Spanish, asked what it said and told just to exchange rooms. Took photo got it translated, what it actually said is that we will make no complaints or claim against the hotel. Apartment, 1 tired bathroom to serve 5 adults, dirty cracked tiles on walls and floors, graffiti etched into bedroom door, black mould on walls in bedrooms, lounge area and terrace. After a couple of days we noticed our clothing was damp in the wardrobe, water ingress from the bathroom, had to live out of suitcases all week. No kettle or coffee machine and oven broken. Broken drawers in bedroom. Apartment same as rooms more like 2 star We learned during our stay that hotel 3 was to close for full refurbishment the following week. This hotel could be amazing as it's in a lovely place right next to a beautiful beach and few nice shops, bars and restaurants. Would never return to Estival Park we thought we'd booked a 4 star hotel, not 2

The hotel we stayed in was filthy, the rooms dated, dirty and the bed was broken. No tea and coffee facilities, rude reception staff. The room was so small we had to move the bed before we could get out onto the balcony. The pool are was dirty with cracked tiles. This is not at all how the hotel was advertised by TUI. Most pictures were of the spa not the hotel! We were moved to an apartment that was so damp in the bedroom that we could not keep our clothes in the wardrobe. 5 friends sharing the apartment with 1 bathroom. 1 mirror over the sink, no kettle, oven not working and a leak under the sink. Save your money

We visited this hotel back in October as a group of 13, we arrived at the hotel at about 11am to be told we couldn’t actually check in untill 4pm we had been up since 2am, this was very frustrating, ( i have cancer so i do like to take naps and i was shattered) had i been aware of this i may have booked later flights or at least sorted my case so i could access what i needed for the day, instead we had to practically empty our cases in in the luggage room to find what we needed. When your tired this becomes frustrating. The lovely lad on reception was helpful and told us to pop back at lunchtime and said it may be ready. However we popped back a few times and it wasn’t. We then just made use of the all inclusive.. The snack bar was fantastic for the kids and ourselves, we very rarely ate in the restaurant at lunchtime, as the snack bar always had hot food! The restaurants where packed to say the least on an evening as a party of 13 trying to find a table was a bit difficult, in the main restaurant the staff where lovely though and did try to sort this for us, in the restaurant in hotel 2 (I think) wow the staff where so rude! We was shouted at for popping a chair on the end of the table, another family where a party of 8 and moved a table of 2 to make 8 and she came over to them screamed at them, told them to move. Very rude!! Food was nice but very repetitive. We had a 2 bedroom apartment, very dated yet modern bathroom, our room was fine nice and spacious, however the kids room had 2 single beds and you couldn’t even close the door without dragging one of the beds diagonal across the room, you also couldn’t get to the wardrobe. One thing i did like about the hotel is that each block was like a gated community so you could only access it via your room key card. The hotel is very close to the beach, supermarket and a couple of bars and restaurants but it is a very quiet area. We wouldn’t stay in this area again or at this hotel.

Firstly, please ignore the bad reviews. I have no idea what some people expect, but the slating of the hotel is way beyond what it deserves. We arrived around 13:30 and check in was very straight forward. Our room was ready for us and we had full use of the facilities and restaurants from the get go. The room was absolutely spotless and everything we needed for a holiday where we just wanted a shower and a sleep. We overlooked the hotel reception and the golf course and not once was it noisy. People also complain about the air conditioning not working. Not true. You need to lock your door and balcony door and then turn this on for it to kick in. The choice in the restaurant was very good. I've seen people say there isn't a lot of choice and I know why they say this as I saw people with every single meal on one plate pretty much every day so if you are piling your plates up with 18 different options it's going to make the choices a little less. Lots of meats, cheeses, bread, fruit, yoghurts, potatoes products etc. You don't need to eat the same thing twice. There's also a lot of desserts and the ice cream was superb. (even pick n mix for the kids) I also read a lot about the staff being miserable. This is far from the truth. The staff are busy and if people took time out to try make conversation in less busy periods they would see they are very welcoming and happy to chat. Snack bar throughout the day was great. Burgers, hot dogs, chips, chicken nuggets, ice cream etc until 10pm at night. Estrella on tap and wine behind the bar from 10am all day everyday. If you want a different wine or a different beer the there is a small supplement, but if you're not fussy then you'll be just fine. (Vodka and orange should be Orange and vodka as the measures blow your socks off) There is a machine that you can get cocktails/mocktails from and they were ok. Nothing special as I didn't get a little parrot in mine, but if you order one at the bar (small supplement to pay) you get the parrot and everything. :-) There are 3 hotels and 2 were open as it was late season. We didn't use hotel 2, but walked past a couple of times and it seemed as nice as hotel 1. You do have use of the facilities there though should you need them. The pool was spotless and a little cold when you first got in, but that soon passes and it was perfect on a hot day. The entertainment on an evening is pretty standard. A magician on the first night confused the people who couldn't get near the front as you couldn't see what he was doing. The rest of it is your typical cheesey holiday stuff. Bands, dancers etc. It wasn't terrible it was what we expected. Games through the day such as a darts tournament, table tennis and water volley ball meant there was always something going on. Sunbeds a plenty and never struggled to get one. A great mix of English, Spanish, French and German people made it feel like you were on holiday as well (The English were the least respectful at meal times) The beach is a 5 minute walk from the complex and it's a perfect beach where you could stand up in the sea around 50 meters out. The sand is clean and is ploughed every day by the looks of it. A fair few shops that sell the usual tat and snide football shirts down the front (avoid the bigger one down near the bottom as he's aggressive if you don't buy exactly what he recommends) A few lucky lucky men selling football shirts and trainers. The shirts are much better quality from these than the shops, but leave the Lidlesque trainers alone. They want 45 euros for the worst copies i've ever seen. You can get them down to 15/20 Euros for the shirts though and they are worth every penny. A few bars along the front which are pretty pricey for drinks. (A pint, a slushy and 2 bags of crisps was 13 euros) Salou market was great, but take cash as very few stalls take card (Every Monday) but the buses were a faff so we ended up getting a taxi as we were told different numbers every time we tried to get one from the drivers of the buses. All in all a perfect family holiday so ignore the bad reviews and book away.

still at the estival park now, here for another half a week and we want to go already. I would not class this as a 4star hotel I have stayed at 3 star hotels that have been much better. most half board or full board places include drinks.....not here your not even allowed juice without paying extra once your at the resort. we made a full booking of 6 people and the hotel separated us into completely different areas of the resort (we was at the opposite side of the entire park) the entertainment is no good the food isn't too bad l, the arrogance and racism is high especially if your from the UK! this is my review so far and it will most likely be added to or another poor review will be made when we finally leave this place. don't waste your money coming here honestly book another holiday somewhere else.

We stayed in hotel 2 in a junior suite, room was lovely but there was building work in the neighbouring hotel 3 that Tui did not inform us about meaning that we could not use the balcony as we were right at the end of the building. This will not affect most people. Bar and drinks were great, don’t ever remember having to wait for a drink. Bar staff were all great and I was happy with the local spirits and beer which was estrella. Great coffee was also served from the bar if you want something better than machine coffee. No queue for sun beds as it wasn’t particularly warm for the 11 nights we were there, although this may be a problem in peak season as the pools are pretty small for hotel size. The surrounding area is great with a decent Irish bar just outside the hotel that does a decent full English. There are cocktail bars and decent coffee shops. There are also supermarkets with a good selection of everything, Hotel food was a mixed bag. The salads were great and always fresh. Breakfast, I wasn’t impressed with this. There are selection of pastries and cakes, and the usual continental items like cheese, ham, fruit etc, these were good. The cooked items weren’t good, eggs either snotty or burned to death. Sausages not great or cold, no omelette station. Staff looked stressed as this was the busiest service, more like feeding time at the zoo. My advice would be to get there early or avoid. Lunch and dinner were better but some evenings lacked imagination ofter a few days. There are good pizzas and pasta available, beef steaks were great. We all had undercooked chicken on more than one occasion, and fish which was almost raw so check food before eating, particularly the kids and you won’t have a problem. Food could do with being warmer in general. The evening entertainment was a kids disco 8 till 830 and the main entertainment was from 930 till 10:30 so nothing after this. They have main act at hotel 1 and generally a singer at hotel 2. The queen performance was great, as was the made in Brazil dancers and the Mago Sasha act. They also had abba and Beatles, these were great crowd pleasers but less memorable.

I was apprehensive about the holiday after reading some of the bad reviews, however I had need not to worry at all. I can only provide an honest review of me and my families experience of our 1 week all-inclusive stay, but we could not fault it. We were a party of 6 adults and 6 children spread across 3 apartments within the complex (2 in Apartments 8 and 1 in Apartments 5). The apartments were nice, maybe need slightly updating, but we basically only slept in them, so it didn't affect our holiday. The selection of drinks and snacks throughout the day were exceptional for the adults and children alike, Estrella on tap, Sangria, 2 Cocktails and Soft Drinks (including water) at self service, with a wide variety of other alcohol beverages available behind the well stocked bar. We found the staff very helpful and cheerful in the most with the entertainment staff a particular highlight, even keeping us entertained on our 1 bad weather day. Pools were clean and great for the children, easy to get a sunbed (take note of holiday in October, so may be different at high season) but 2e also had a private pool which could only be accessed by Apartments 8, which was virtually empty all the time and therefore perfect for our young children. You also have access to the Spa Facilites within the Sports Club, which provides and alternative for some inside swimming and spa facilities (whirlpool, sauna and steam rooms). Now to the restaurants, we tried both of them in Hotel 1 and Hotel 2, and enjoyed both. Hotel 1 seemed to have a slightly larger selection. Yes, the food may not be the finest cuisine (but do you really expect that at an all-inclusive buffet style restaurant), but each night all of the party throughly enjoyed the food. Their is a whole host of freshly cooked items which are regularly topped up by the amazing chefs, along with some other hot items kept warm on hot plates. If you went later in the evening, and it hadn't been popular, then sure, it may be lukewarm, but just try something else. There is plenty of selection for everyone's tastes. Entertainment, for the most, was excellent, including children facepainting and disco, only really one night where we did not enjoy the entertainment, good variety. Agree with a previous post that maybe the gap between the end of the kids' disco and entertainment starting could be shorter, as seemed to drag on, and children got slightly restless sometimes. The complex is also across the road from the beach, so even if you stay within the hotels which are at the top of the complex, you are only a 2 minute stroll and you are on a beautiful sandy beach. To note: Hotel 3, which has had some very bad reviews, is currently closed for renovation works and due to reopen in 2024. All in all, as a family, we had a fabulous time, the facilities, accommodation and all-inclusive perks were fantastic and we are already looking to book for next year.

My husband and our two children 1 and 3 years have just returned from a week stay here and I honestly have to say it’s the worst family all inclusive hotel I have ever stayed in. The hotel it’s self is very dated and takes me back to my childhood holiday's as a kid in the 80’s ( apart from by the managers offices on the 1st floor, the only part to be refurbished ). The food! Well what can I say. It was awful, breakfast looked like the evening before leftovers, it was all stone cold. There was hardly any choice from day to day and what was there was barely edible, I would honestly say that the day time snack bar had better and warmer food than the main restaurants and that still wasn't great. We paid all inclusive but ended up eating out 4 nights of our stay here and a couple of the local restauranteurs saw our wristbands and said they get a lot of customers eating there and complaining about the hotel . The children’s entertainers need to have a refreshers course as it was the same things everyday, even down to the music, very boring for the children and only the cold pool to play in. To sum it up the whole hotel estival park and apartments needs to be brought up to date, building, staff, menus etc etc. I will not be coming back here neither will I be recommending this place. This should be a 3 star hotel and that is being generous.

OK so I want to write my honest review of here.. absolutely everything (except the food) is amazing.. pools are great, the animation team are amazing.. kids disco fab! Entertainment great too.. maybe the hour between kids disco and the entertainment could be shortened to half hour to make the wait a bit better but I guess not a major problem.. Now we come to the reason I only gave 4 stars and not 5.. THE FOOD! the salad bars and puddings are really good but as a person who likes a hot meal.in an evening i'm afraid the food just didn't suffice.. yes its luke warm which i can deal with but there was no flavour or effort put into any of the meals and everything seemed tasteless and dry.. i am no food snob but this really did put me off eating here and is probably a reason i would not return.. the breakfast was ok because they had pancakes for my son but the bacon and sausages were discusting so i didn't feel i could have a good old english breakfast.. i would honestly love this hotel to improve its food as everything else.is amazing but on the other hand it's quite cheap and cheerful which is why i still gave a 4 star as we didn't pay alot for the holiday so i guess the food being a let down compensates the price we paid :)

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Estival in La Pineda with my family, and I must say it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Here are some of the highlights that made our stay memorable: First and foremost, our accommodation in a duplex room at Hotel 1 was outstanding. The room was incredibly spacious and impressively clean, which immediately put us at ease. The powerful shower was a delightful surprise, providing us with a refreshing start to each day. The only minor downsides were that the only mirror was in the bathroom and there was some noise from the toilets flushing in the upstairs rooms. However, these were small inconveniences compared to the amount of room we had and the fantastic location. What's more, our little one managed to sleep through the noise while we enjoyed some time on the balcony, where we were treated to glimpses of the nighttime shows. The location truly is fantastic, offering both comfort and entertainment. One of the things that stood out the most during our stay was the feeling of security and safety within the complex. We appreciated the ability to explore the other hotels, such as the kiddy pool in Hotel 2. Everything was meticulously maintained and clean, and the staff were consistently helpful and kind, ensuring our family felt well taken care of throughout our stay. We opted for the half-board package, which allowed us the flexibility to explore the local area for lunches. However, there was a bit of confusion regarding the beverage options during breakfast and dinner. During the first part of our holiday, we helped ourselves to juice and water, but it seemed the staff changed, and we were told quite firmly that we were only entitled to water. To enhance the guest experience, it would be beneficial for the hotel to make it crystal clear what beverages half-board guests are allowed, to prevent any misunderstandings or unexpected charges. Now, onto the highlight of our stay: the food. Despite being someone who typically dislikes buffets, I was pleasantly surprised. There was no unpleasant smell, and the variety of options to choose from was impressive. The food was consistently fresh, well-thought-out, and incredibly tasty. It was evident that cleanliness was a top priority, and we felt comfortable dining at the hotel throughout our stay. The hotel's location was another great aspect of our trip. A mere 5-minute walk took us to a beautiful sandy beach equipped with convenient toilet facilities and fun rocks to climb. We found it easy to access buses to Salou and various theme parks, making our adventures in the area hassle-free. The locals were friendly and went the extra mile to make our young child feel welcome, offering extras for free when shopping and making our overall experience truly enjoyable. The kids club was a fantastic feature, and our little one absolutely loved it. The team responsible for running the kids club were nothing short of amazing. Their dedication and enthusiasm were apparent from the moment we stepped through the door. They made sure our child felt welcome and engaged throughout their stay. One of the highlights of our evenings was the mini disco and face painting. Our little one looked forward to it every night, and it quickly became a cherished part of our daily routine. Watching our child's face light up as they danced with newfound friends during the mini disco was a heartwarming sight. The talented staff also created impressive face paintings, transforming our child into different characters and animals, adding an extra layer of excitement to their evenings. The entertainment team as a whole deserves a special mention for their efforts in ensuring guests of all ages had a fantastic time. Their energy and creativity shone through in the various activities and shows they organized, making our evenings enjoyable and memorable.
