My husband and I have just returned from a one week stay in the Agamenon, we were sorry that we hadn't booked for two weeks. The staff couldn't do enough for you, very friendly, everywhere was spotlessly clean, restaurant was excellent, we were particularly impressed that breakfast was served until 10.30 am and evening meal served to 10.00 pm, allowing... more

My wife and I have just returned from a week at the Agamenon (May 2009). It is one of quite a large group of hotels on Menorca (Set Hotels). It has attentive, polite and extremely pleasant staff, superb food and it is kept spotlessly clean. The location is as near perfect as you’ll get at the price (we had a... more

The food in this hotel was some of the best I've ever had, there was plenty of choice and it was all beautifully cooked and presented. the rooms were exceptionally clean through out the whole time we were there. My family and I spent 2 weeks at this lovely hotel in July last year and a week in October and for 3 weeks in 2007 and could not fault any aspect whatsoever. The views are spectacular. Everywhere is immaculate, food is of good quality and the staff are the best we have ever experienced in a European Hotel. Couldn't... more

I traveled to Menorca (Minorca) for work in late October 2008. I was pleased at how clean the hotel was, huge pool area, and each room has a balcony overlooking the bay. The staff all speaks good English, and the breakfast and dinner buffet downstairs had a lot of variety of foods. For breakfast there are eggs, cheeses, muffins, lots... more

Short 4 night break for a bit of sunshine. The hotel is a 10 minute taxi ride from the airport (cost 15 euros-as usual ask the driver first-they have fixed rates here). Hotel is located 40 minutes walk to Mahon, and about 15 minutes to the small harbour in Es Castell. The hotel looks over to Mahon. Hotel was clean,... more

We have just holidayed at the Hotel Agamenon for one week and were pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed it. We normally travel to Italy independently and take a house for self-catering but on the recommendation of a friend and after reading the tripadvisor reviews we decided to take a chance . It proved to be a very pleasant... more
