The hotel itself was great, helpful staff, clean apartment. Overall, there was plenty of food to choose from different variety every night, waterslides was great and the pool entertainment. Only downfall for me was the entertainment on a night was in Spanish and mainly for little children but if you have little children then it will suit. The hotel isn't far from the beach or any excursions, if you visit here see if you can get to go to mundomar that was a brilliant time memories of a lifetime & the waterpark too! 🥰 Overall the hotel was a great place and great for the money! If you choose to go here have fun from my family to yours!

We visited here in the October half term. The hotel itself was nice and the facilities were fabulous, extremely suited to children. It’s a little bit far out from the centre of Benidorm, however the local bus stops right outside the hotel and only takes about 15 minutes to get you there. Children’s entertainment was great, especially for Halloween, however it started quite late, which isn’t great for little ones. We booked the hotel as the pool area looked absolutely fantastic and would be extremely suited to our 2 year old to keep him busy. This was true, however the whole pool was pretty much in shade all day. This was the same for all of the sunbeds. This meant that my toddler went into the water and after 10 minutes or so, came out shivering and took a long time to warm. After 3 days, he then refused to go back in the water and actually became scared of the pool which was disappointing. No chance of sunbathing as again, as the sunbeds only got about an hour of sun each day which was a massive shame. This was due to the large trees and buildings that surrounded the hotel. Not sure if it is like this all the time, but it definitely but a negative spin on our trip. We did enjoy the hotel and would visit again, but maybe in the middle of summer when you wouldn’t mind being in the shade!

Nowhere near enough sunbeds. If you get up before 8am and lay towels out you’ll be ok. But if you want to eat breakfast first, no chance. I asked the chap at the bar about extra sunbeds and he pointed me to customer service near the door. I asked there, the man shrugged and said you just have to look!!! Luckily I have a modicum of common sense and had already looked!!! There were a few signs saying ‘do not reserve the sunbeds’ however families had put towels on sunbeds and not used the beds all day! Of course, no one knew when and if they were going to use them, so we felt unable to simply move the towels off. The staff should do this, otherwise what is the point of the signs? In our last day we got up early and joined the throng to grab beds. The rest of the week we sat at the edge of the toddler pool, which is not ideal for eating lunch, for example. It is not even a matter of the hotel buying more beds. There is no room anywhere at all to PUT more beds. It’s just a matter of not having the facilities for the number of guests that they book in. Also the lifts were intermittent. At all times at least one lift was out of order. Alarms were going off several times a day, not sure if anyone got stuck in them but we used the stairs rather than risk it.

We travelled during October half term as a family of 10, including 4 children. We expected the hotel to be busy at that time, and it certainly was. The Caribbean Gold apartments were spacious and had two separate bedroom areas and a small kitchenette so very good for families. The balcony was large with a table and chairs and a sofa. The sun shone on the balcony for most of the day but then we were quite high up. We were standard all-inclusive and the food was excellent, with lots of choice at every meal time - definitely something for everyone. We did have to wait a short while for a table on occasion but this was to be expected for a table for 10! No problems with queuing for drinks either. All the staff worked very hard to make the holiday enjoyable for all so we’d like to thank them for that. If I had a negative, it would be that many of the sun beds were totally in the shade. There were only a few areas around the pool that saw sunshine for any length of time - this was due to other high rise buildings near the hotel. It may be different in the summer when the sun is higher. This holiday was not our usual choice as we usually look for adults only. However, this was a holiday for all our family and it is certainly a lovely hotel for them.

Great location, in the outskirts of Benidorm, with a nice bay/beach a walking distance away. A special thank you to the chef Carlos, who went out of his way to accommodate the vegan requirements of my wife. Great entertainment program/actives for kids.

On arrival you feel as if your at a 5* accommodation. Beautiful surroundings, palm trees, welcoming staff and air con. Unfortunately more to this hotel than the exterior. Positives; Room big (nice 50 inch tv for the kids to watch) Friendly bar staff Beautiful view from balcony to pool Negatives; Rude reception staff rude families (not hotels fault) No lighting in balcony area Windows dirty Plug socket not fixed to the wall properly in games room (accident waiting to happen) Can not lock the door of room from inside (kids could get out) Food was disgusting (no taste and cold) The swimming pool was BALTIC! Take thermals Kids entertainment - Not enough room for everyone - fighting for seats and tables Entertainment was WAY to loud if you weren't there enjoying it Sat in the room a few nights because my son wasn't well and there is no need for it to be so loud in my opinion Lifts are slow and dirty A little boy cut his hand open on the pirate ship pool (BE CAREFUL) Kids club over 4 only! Major issue for the 1* review is because when we booked the Gaming experience for my son (who has special needs) the app wasn't working so we had to go reception an book. We booked my eldest son and middle son to go at 5pm, got there at 4.55. The man said we booked for 4pm, this was not the case. Went to the reception to explain what had happened, the man couldn't understand me, so i asked for the manager. Explained to her the situation. They bot h started talking in spanish. The manager then took what i was saying and she led the way to the Gaming room, she then went inside to the guy running and come back out and said right there you go you have 15 minutes. What a joke! My eldest wouldn't stop crying and i told her what i thought of her shambles of a hotel. This is an honest review and please re think before booking. The area is lovely. Beach is 10 min walk, Markets Saturday morning on the right by the mountains. Transfer about 45-1hr. Benidorm taxi 20 euro Bus stop across the road is a lot cheaper (but is busy) Supermarket across the round never open Aldi & Mcdonalds up the road about 15-20 min walk!

5 star review!! Just visited end of October to beginning of November, Double Birthday visit for our children and Halloween Celebrations. Home today, had to write review. Absoloutely fantastic hotel, with friendly, warm, caring and kind staff. Welcomed into Resort day one and supported through out. The Jet2 rep resident a number of days was an asset to the hotel and worked with the hotel staff excellent. As did other jet 2 staff form what we seen. Staff always available, helpful and friendly. Lots of advice to make best of the stay. The magic app which you get on check in is excellent. The food changed daily with lots of options and excellent themes. We went all inclusive plus package which included a number of additional benefits and well worth it. Package included trip to Aqua natura and terra natura, as well as visit to other restarunts. Access to other Magic hotels available which was excellent opportunity. There was so much available in the hotel it was unreal, could not do all what was on offer as so much to do and we could literally have spent the entire week in our hotel. Swimming pool water was cold as expected in October but really did not bother us. Enjoyed all pool areas in the lovely warm weather. Excellent pool activities from the entertainment team. Loads of areas within the resort and slides were excellent. Kids and families loved it. Honestly what an incredible week. The Halloween theming was fantastic and spooky and the entertainment team absoloutely made halloween events spectacular and scary. Entertainment team incredible with children and adults. Could name lots of staff as got to know staff well during stay and would praise them all but may be in appropriate to name staff and do not want to miss anyone. Honestly amazing. Incredible Resort, room midfloor which was lovely, very clean and excellently well maintained Resort. Plenty of lift access and easily could use stairs. There are 23 floors. Cleaners lovely as were kitchen staff and bar staff. Alcohol fantastic, included official spirits and tasty cocktails. Snacks and snack bar available. Spa access. Themed restarunts. Honestly Magic!!! Hope to visit again soon, would like to try another Magic hotel but feel we would gravitate to Tropical Splash as was just Magic!!! And fantastic. Likely could say so much more. So pleased with entire stay. Would have loved to stay longer. Made freinds with others easily. Could have stayed on Resort all holiday but so much on offer to explore from what the package from magic hotels had to offer. Halloween zombie event wow!!! Never experienced anything like it. Credit to entertainment team and staff facilitating this and other activities. Foam party!! Brilliant!! Thank you all sooo much at Magic Tropical Splash for helping us to make incredible memories.

Just got back after a fantastic holiday, having read previous reviews I was optimistic. However we had a wonderful time, the staff were great, food and drink was plentiful as were the variety. The entertainment for the kids was brilliant especially the Halloween themed night. We were on the 20th floor and didn't have issues with the lifts at all. 10 minutes was about the longest wait. Great value for money. Highly recommend this hotel for families.

We stayed here for 4 nights at Halloween, all inclusive in a one bed apartment. We had twin beds in the bedroom, twin beds and a double sofa bed in the living area, one bathroom. It's a bit old fashioned but very clean and the beds are very comfortable. You can get English speaking TV channels but we didn't bother. The pool was freezing! But again clean, and large, and the slides were really good. We swam despite the chill! The gym is pathetic, and we didn't try the sauna as apparently you had to pay 5e. Food was great. Great selection. If you are very fussy/ plain water you might struggle a bit but we were very happy. Drinks good too. We didn't watch much of the entertainment but the bits we did see were ok, bingo at the pool in the afternoon, a slightly lame singer (tbf he had hardly any audience!) and the kids loved the zombie hunt. It's a ten minute dander to a small beach in Finestrat, same length in opposite direction to a shopping centre, and an hour along the beach to benidorm. I'd read some terrible reviews before we went, about food quality and a bad smell, and rowdy guests. We didn't experience any of that. Like all ai hotels I'm sure you'd get a bit bored after 10 days but this was perfect for a short trip. Unfortunately the weather was a bit nippy two of our days but that's not the hotel's fault. We did think about upgrading to ultra ai but didn't, and tbh didn't miss it. The snack bar was open late so no need to get a pizza delivered to the room, don't care about getting fridge restocked, main buffet restaurant perfect didn't feel the need to go to other restaurants, and didn't have the time really to visit other magic hotels.
