The Hotel d'Europe is situated in the small town of Meyrueis, in the Cevenne Mountains. The hotel is located on the town's one main street. It was clean and the room was decently sized. We had a private bathroom, which was quite nice, but I think cheaper rooms were available that had a shared bath. It's nothing fancy, but for the extraordinarily cheep price, it's an excellent find. There's little to do in the town of Meyrueis, but it's quite pretty and has a nice row of cafes, restaurants, and gift shops. It makes a good stopping point if you're traveling through the Cevenne Mountains. I believe the hotel does have it's own parking, but I can't be sure. We parked on the street just out in front, though that might prove more difficult in July and August. The proprietor was polite and to the point. more
