The hotel is located in an old baronial palace, completely renovated in 2007, in the real centre of the medieval village of Teggiano (about 80 km from Salerno). The 12 rooms are different from each other and have an antique fashion with modern comforts, from A/C to hairdresser. Most part of the rooms have a beautiful view over the valley... more

This was the nicest hotel that we stayed in during a five city tour of Italy. Imagine a charming palazzo lovingly updated with ALL the modern amenities. It says alot about Italy's abundance of attractions that an area as breathtakingly beautiful as Salerno's Vallo di Diano is so undiscovered. more

After staying in hotels and apartments in Rome, Naples, Amalfi and Matera claiming to be rated at 3 and 4 star accommodations (no heat, terrible mattresses, no soap or shampoo, dbl bed instead of twins even though we were promised...traveled with brother) it was refreshing to stay at a wonderful, clean, comfortable, top notch hotel.
