A true gem just outside Tours and a perfect base to explore the chateaux and wineries of the Loire valley by car. Myself and my husband stayed here for 3 nights in July and loved every minute of it. Our bedroom was huge witha living room attached, furnished with beautiful french period furniture. The bathroom was very large with shower... More

From the minute we arrived to a warm welcome, our stay was superb; the room/"suite" was clean comfortabvle and airy. Views from the suite overlooked the front gardens. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We would recommend this Chateau for any holiday as it has easy access, by car, to all the attractions. There are vast grounds to stroll or sit,... More

I will recommend this place to everybody - I really fall in love in this place. You really feel there as is is your own house, and if you are a princess in the castle. We rented O'Neil apartment. Quite elegant, well kept, really vintage but carefully and expensive restored. Beautiful park, also very elegant, flowers, grass, plants are like... More

We stayed in the Eugene O'Neill suite, a large comfortable and beautiful suite of rooms for 4 people. The host/hostess are charming, the breakfasts which are included are wonderful, it's a great place for children and young people with bikes and a games room and the location is perfect for visiting one of the most beautiful areas of France. I... More

We stayed only one night on our way through France. A beautiful house in lovely surroundings and we had a gorgeous room. Madame was all courtesy and charm and we had a simple home cooked dinner and breakfast around the huge table with other visitors. It was lovely to sit outside when we first arrived and we were brought a... More

My husband and I stayed for one night at the Chateau du Plessis. Although our arrival was a little unusual, the room we stayed it was absolutely enourmous and the bathroom was incredibly large! We felt like royalty sleeping in that place. The owners are doing a good job fixing the place up. The grounds are lovely, and we really... More

We stayed at the Chateau du Plessis in May 2008--initially in one of the rooms in the Chateau for a few days and then in the Lodge for a week. The Chateau is about a 10 minute drive across the Loire and to north of Tours out in the countryside. The Chateau is a very attractive complex with extensive and... More

I stayed here for three nights with my partner in November. This was such a nice place to stay, it's a beautiful chateau and our room was lovely. great breakfasts and the hosts were so friendly and helpful- gave heaps of tourist advice for exploring the loire region. Located only a five-ten minute drive from the centre of Tours. This... More

we are a family of 4 and stayed in the lodge. we chose the lodge as it looked nearer the swimming pool (which it is) but the kitchen is tiny so if you enjoy cooking you may be a little disappointed. when i cooked there was only room for me in the kitchen ! that said plenty of pots/pans etc... More
