We had our reservation for sept 06 confirmed in MAY 06 when we went directly to their reservation and front office manager. End of August our reservation did not exist anymore, because the hotel received a better deal from a tour operator. Not professional, not even legal, but there are other hotels...... more

I agree with the previous reviewer. This is a most disappointing hotel. It is in a great position and public areas are beautiful but the rooms are poor and the management and staff are indifferent at best and belligerent at worst. Arriving at El Nogal is really promising. The hotel sits almost on top of a hill, 1,100 meters above the sea, which you can see (when there is no fog, that is). This palce is wonderful. Off the beaten track but absolutely first class. Try and bok in the old bit on the first floor - you have the whole lot practically to yourselves. The staff are wonderful and tell you about all the best beaches - well needed info in Tenerife! more
