Andalsnes is famous for the spectacular Trollstigen road to Geiranger and also well known among mountain climbers for the famous Troll Wall, the highest vertical rock face in Europe. The Grand Hotel Bellevue is the only first class hotel in Andalsnes and it meets the expectations you may have. The rooms are clean and functional and there is a decent... More

We were reluctant to book at the Grand Bellvue due to poor reviews on Trip Advisor but we were pleasantly surprised. Whilst the hotel from the outside looks a little shabby the floor we were on (5th) has recently been refurbished and our room was well decorated, fresh and clean with a fabulous view to the mountina. the dining room... Stayed here for one night during my trip throughout Norway. The rooms are old an are in need of refurbishment, strangely enough they do possess a 40" LCD screen however all TV-stations are Norwegian. Mattresses are soft and not really comfy and the whole room smells a bit dirty. Evening buffet was an absolute joke, I paid 120 NOK for... More

We did a one night stay at the Grand Hotel while starting off on a Fjord exploration journey. When we arrived on a Tuesday, the nightclub wasn't happening and the town was pretty quiet (probably because the end of August the Norwegian tourist season is pretty much finished). The hotel is a 7 - 10 minute walk away from the... More

Arrived at the hotel on a Sunday evening after 11 hours in the car. It was then a bit dissapointed to find that the hotel did not serve dinner this day. But a quick walk in town and we found a nice place. Room was fine, clean and with a nice view. (5th floor) If you are a "light" sleeper,... More

Stayed here for one night whilst on tour so did not get particularly familiar with this hotel. Not so impressed with the very basic room, the bathroom was very dated and in need of refurbishment. Also not too happy about the night club in the basement that kept on playing loud music until late and kept me awake. However, it... More

It is an old shabby and dirty hotel. We had to put towels on the chairs because they were so dirty! The shower was in the middle of the bathroom and when you take a shower everything gets wet! There is no way to roll your suitcases into the hotel because it has only stairs. The 1 elevator works slowly... More

The 84 room Grand Hotel Bellevue looks back on a grand tradition of distinguished visitors over the past 75 years, but signs are everywhere that updating of rooms and cosmetic upkeep of walls and carpets has been long overdue. Threadbare carpets in the elevator and scuff marks and scrapes on hallway walls attest to this, although a major refurbishment supposedly... More

We booked this hotel through the fjord pass website and got a good rate on it. The hotel is in a good location and is only a short walk down to the waterfront. Most of the hotel is in dire need to renovation. Some parts like the restaurant/bar area looked to have been modernised recently. However the corridors need paint... More

I stayed here for one night. The room was clean and comfortable albeit basic. However, the hotel boasts one of the few bars in Andalsnes. On the night we were there it hosted a club night which went on until 2.00 am. This made it wholly impossible to sleep in our room two floors up. The hotel is clearly very... More

We are sorry for this, and the night club are closed at summer time. At Winter time this isn't a problem. More
