4 couples, 2 birthdays, 1 fabulous place to stay. Arrived Saturday 18th Feb for one night and the welcome and rooms were first class. Jonathan provided sparkling weather for our walking as well as huge roaring fire on our return! It doesnt get much better than this, thank you . Sheelagh and Geoff Evans More

Just had a one night stay at Linhope House and it was F A B. Jonathan and Joanne were perfect hosts and look after our every need. The rooms are incredible comfortable and when we saw the roaring fire on Saturday night we were all tempted to stay in and have takeaway!! Definitely on the list for a revisit sometime. More

We stayed here on the 3rd of Feb for my Birthday and after seeing the reviews were pleased to say-they are all accurate! The owners are so amazingly helpful and all the attention to detail in the rooms-comfy robes and slippers, an abundant tea/coffee tray, toiletries etc etc. When we arrived we had tea by the fire, served by Jonathan... It's been said that the UK has some of the best B&Bs in the world, and this is why. Jonathan warmly greeted us when we arrived and offered us a drink. They are fantastic hosts, nothing is too much trouble for them. By their own admission they try and stay out of your way but if you need anything at... More
