We didn't stay here, but ate in the restaurant. It was brilliant. The food is lovely, the portions huge and the price fantastic. We paid £30 for the two of us to have 2 courses with drinks, can't get better than that. more

This pub is not smart but the room was clean, warm and comfortable and the place is well run. The breakfast is well above average, with alternatives to the usual English. The restaurant is popular. I've stayed in much worse places at twice the price! more
