We were given a wonderful welcome from Mrs Povey, we arrived later in the evening than we had planned and were delighted and relived that after our long journey, that there was milk and juice in the fridge and a excellent selection of muesli's, cereals, nuts and fruits, as well as various jams, tea and coffee. We really enjoyed our time spent at Achaleven Byre and would definately return. The 1 yr and 4 yr old found the space great both inside the accommodation and outside. Everything you'd need for self-catering was excellent. more
For eight days my wife and stayed at Mrs Povey's byre which has been converted into a self-catering unit. She had provided far more than was expected - tea, coffee, milk, sugar, jam, cereals, shower gel, shampoo, dvds, cds and board games; washing machine, iron and ironing board.
