We loved this little hotel. It only has 17 rooms and is typical Japanese in small and simple style. We were a group of seven with two children and stayed in a mix of western and japanese rooms with bathrooms. The japanese rooms were more spacious but all rooms were very comfortable with great beds! The staff speak good english and were extremely helpful arranging dinner reservations, transfers and trips to other ski areas. The hotel is across the road from the lifts, no walking. Breakfast is generous with a mix of western and japanese food. It was excellent to stay at a japanese hotel rather than a big impersonal chain hotel and would stay here again. more
