If you do find yourself in this part of Turkey, you should follow the Lonely Planet's advice and stay at this property. The hotel itself is over 100 years old and has been beautifully renovated to restore the feeling of the past. The experience is fantastic and much needed after a long day of driving or site-seeing on your way here. As you approach the city, you may be worried about the possibilities of finding such a gem. I loved the motto of the hotel: "Feel the nostalgia," which is so true for this hotel.

The hotel spans one city block in Usak, and you enter through which was probably for horses and carriages. At least 3 people met us at the entrance as we arrived very late at night. The property was very well attended at all hours and it felt very safe. They opened the dining room for us at 10PM or so, but we opted to eat in the city, which was probably a mistake.
