We've been to Barra several times over the years and this is the friendliest, most comfortable and welcoming place we have stayed. The old school has been renovated to provide stylish modern and clean B&B rooms and also has a self-catering option. This was our second B&B stay on a 21 day trip around the hebrides. We found ithe Savorys exceptionally welcoming and keen to tell us all their stories about the islands. The house is a converted school and the conversion is excellent and modern with a sitting area as well as an ensuite bathroom. Furnishings were also clean and up... more
