Francoise, who is a lovely retired French lady, and her husband and son have a lovely house, with two rooms they rent out, just outside of Graulet (around 45 mins from Toulouse along the A68).

The rooms are great value (and that doesn't mean scabby), and the garden - with its hammock - has a nice rural feel.

A great European croissant and coffee-laden feast is included for breakfast, and this for around Euro 50 a night (for a double room).

Francoise speaks some English - enough to get along with (though my other half speaks French, which of course helps), and other than a shower head that kept falling off we can't find a negative word to say about the place.

Sweet people, lovely house and view, great value.
